2006 News
12/28/2006 - We received the sad news this week that LTC James O'Rourke,
American Legion Sr. Vice Commander 5th District and a long-time friend
of the MBDO passed away on 12/23. Jim and his JROTC group from Senn
High School were regular participants in annual Maywood Bataan Day
services. We are all saddened at his passing. Further information about
LTC James O'Rourke can be found in his Chicago Tribune obituary. Funeral Service for LTC O'Rourke will be held on 12/30/2006 at 11am at the Holowell and James Funeral Home in Western Springs. Visitation begins at 10am. Click here for the Tribune obituary.
